The Challenge

Regional retail chains across Bandar Seri Begawan, Kuala Belait, and Miri suffer revenue loss and checkout bottlenecks whenever local telecom or fibre networks experience outages. Overseas cloud-based POS platforms freeze during internet cuts, require expensive USD monthly subscription taxes, and lack native integration with Brunei local payment rails.

Our Solution

Engineered a local-first Point of Sale and inventory management platform powered by an embedded SQLite Write-Ahead Logging (WAL) architecture. Transactions execute locally in 0.05 seconds with zero internet dependency. Native BIBD QuickPay dynamic QR generation and receipt printing work continuously offline. When connection restores, multi-terminal reconciliation syncs safely to the central database without write conflicts.
